“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…”

The Mount Pleasant Church of Christ consists of families and individuals from across the United States who call the Charleston area their home.

The body was formed in 2003 by baptized Christians who saw a need for a community of believers in Mount Pleasant.

Even though members came from other churches and other parts of the world, the church came together in the unity of the Spirit and in the bond of peace. We are committed to following a faith grounded in Jesus Christ and spreading the good news as he commands.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them I the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4:2-6
